A Quick Open Note To Brother Cornel West
Dear Dr. West,
How in the hell can you accept an BET Honors Award for Education from a network that has spent years dumbing down and degrading the black race? Instead of celebrating the best about black people and black culture, BET works overtime to spread the absolute worse stereotypes of the black community.
Haven't you spent the last 25 years working as an educator and public intellectual to uplit the race? And now, you are willing to toss that work away by supporting BET, Debra Lee, and Reginald Hudlin, who have shown nothing but contempt for the very people you have worked so hard to educate and celebrate? You know BET is not right! You know BET is not doing or achieving what it possibly could if it's managment really cared about black folks.
Get some spine brother and tell truth to power.
