The Lakers got bad news before the game - Andrew Bynum will be out 8-12 weeks. That's a problem. Kobe puts a band-aid on that wound by dropping 61 on the Knicks. That's a solution. Kobe dominated the game, without distracting from the offense, particularly on a night when a few of his teammates seemed checked out.
Other than Kobe it was a rough night for Professor Tracey's boys in the NBA, Deron Williams is injured - again, Jameer Nelson dislocated his shoulder and the Orlando Magic lost, and Chris Paul got hurt and the Hornets lost. Damn!
