yeah it's cool, but kind of strange in the same sense to me. i believe it is all the popular enthusiasm that is coming from all venues here in the u.s. generated by a black man getting this far in the political climb for prez.
it's quite surreal to me--probably because there is nothing like this that has ever been before.
like a new pair of shoes...you have to walk in them for a few days before they feel comfortable and start to take form to the shape of your feet.
and i also think about how long it took people of all skin hues to accept the freedom from slavery for colored people. it had been one way for so long that when change came, people felt that it was bad. but after walking in those new shoes for awhile, they took form to our feet and became comfortable to wear.
*except for the people that left one form of slavery and freely walked right into another form of bondage.-for another post*
