Words For Warfare
" ... not all black women have silently acquiesced in sexism and misogyny within the African-American community. Indeed, many writers, activists, and other women have voiced their opposition and paid the price: they have been ostracized and branded as either man- haters or pawns of white feminists, two of the more predictable modes of disciplining and discrediting black feminists." - Kimberly Crenshaw

HA!
see, it doesn't matter what some one else thinks of your work or yourself--only what you know is the truth.
just because someone has to label you in order to control you and their fears -to make themselves feel more comfortable around you because you are different, should not be reason enough to become what they say you are!
differences are to be celebrated-not feared!
Kimberly Crenshaw is amazing. Is she still teaching at Columbia U. Law School?
On point!

I'm not sure if she is still teaching because she has been doing a lot of tv and ACLU work.
