Only In America - The Freedom To Be Openly Racist And Exclusionary To Other Americans

I have never seen a black person dressed up in white face for a party or as a joke, but I have seen a white person in black face mimicking black folks. I have seen twice white people in KKK uniforms for Halloween costumes, but I have never seen a black person in a slave or lynching victim costume for Halloween. I've seen Obama Waffles, but not McCain Flip Flop Flapjacks.

Now I have seen a standing billboard in white small town U.S.A. that depicts Obama in a fashion that tops anything those numb nuts that created Obama Waffles could have thought of. I always wonder why some white folks do these things and do them so publicly. And I also wonder why no black person EVER does anything remotely similar in retaliation.

Where is the John "Sidney" McCain billboard in the middle of Atlanta or Detroit, depicting him as a Ku Klux Klansman equaling more war, less education, economic failure, and racial discrimination? Just asking.

awww cmon Professor, racism in America??? Has the past couple of days not shown you that it is only racist when the N word is used and when white folks say it's ok that is actually racist. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill!

Whites sometimes just get a pass on their behaviors.

In a related observation;

Today while watching the McLaughlin Group, Monica Crowley latched out about the Obama camp closing several mainstream newspapers from the available press resources and substituiting them with Essence, Ebony and Jet. She seem to infer that this was wrong and improper. It angered me. Why should'nt these forms of media have the same opportunities as the majority white based MSM?

Then to add insult to injury she professes that Obama has no 'normal' friends. ('Normal' by whose standards?

She epitomizes 'white privilege' thinking and behavior!
