Words For Warfare

"The hearts of Afro-American women are too warm and too large for race hatred. Long suffering has so chastened them that they are developing a special sense of sympathy for all who suffer and fail of justice." – Fannie Barrier Williams

wow. This quote makes me realize we could not have peace without the support of black women. Scary and humbling thought. The image is strong and lovely.

so true so true what she said.
we cannot have Outward Peace without women working together for it. No Matter What Her skin Color is! not scary for me to understand this.

it is a universal work.
What is scary for me is that - this outward peace cannot be obtained till every person has Inner peace! and that is the hardest part of the work.
helping womyn to learn to love themselves-accept themselves and be themesleves unconditionally.

what is sad is that, so many woman are under attack for just thinking as an individual, let alone a groug of thinking women working for the uplifting of womyns rights all over the globe!

i read this quote over and over and had to marinate in it for a while before i commented...it just rested in me as it is a strong truth!
