The Incredible Irony That The State of Ohio Would Be The First State In Need Of Assistance From President-Elect Obama
I hate the fact that anyone is going to lose their job, particularly at the holiday time, but I can't shake how ironic it is that the home of Joe the Plumber and the home of some of the worst expressions of open racism against Obama by white McCain/Palin supporters, would end of being the first state to desperately need his attention.
The shutdown of DHL in America is going to devastate the town of Wilmington, Ohio. 8,000 lay-offs for a city of 12,000 people. Wow! I will be praying for these folks, but I have to wonder how many of them hollered "Socialist" and "Terrorist" at a Palin rally. These folks are going to really need every tax break and social program Obama can create. And somehow I doubt that they will be turning anything down.
