Tavis Smiley, Wells Fargo, And The NAACP.....Oh My!
Tavis Smiley has Wells Fargo as a major sponsor for the 10th State of the Black Union and the NAACP names Wells Fargo as one of the most nefarious and notorious lenders who screwed black folks with sub prime loans. The same Wells Fargo, the NAACP is now suing. Uh, where's Mr. Tavis "Accountable" Smiley now? This won't do.
I know I'm not that only one that thinks Mr. Smiley's choice of sponsors stinks to high heaven or is troubled by his silence on this mess. My blogging sista Genma at her blog, Genma Speaks, speaks truth to power on this issue. Anyone else have any thoughts on this little conundrum for Mr. Smiley? Cause it's sho' mighty quiet in his little neck of da' woods. Crickets, nothing, nada.
