Poor Kwame Kilpatrick...His Fate Rests With The Governor That Took Of Her Shoe At The Obama Rally

Unless Detroit Mayor Kwame "Text Me Baby" Kilpatrick has some dirt on Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm, he's dead meat. She's going to sink his ass, like that iceberg sunk the Titanic. She is an extremely unpopular governor in a state that is going through hard times, she's got to be loving the opportunity to take down Kilpatrick.

Now Granholm who has failed at her job as much as Kilpatrick has failed at his, gets the chance to do something historic, forcing the ouster of a sitting city mayor in the D. As much as believe that Kilpatrick deserves everything he gets, it bothers me it will come from the woman that waved her expensive high heel in the air to signal transferring her support of Hillary Clinton through the primaries to Barack Obama's presidential candidacy.

You have to feel for the people of Michigan that this has been their leadership for so long. The state is in desperate need of new blood at the helm.

The hits keep coming when following Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick. He will definitely face assault charges and he will most certainly be staying close to home for the next few months. I am starting to feel a little sorry for Mr. Kilpatrick because he just can't same to get out of his own way. He really does not seem to grasp the amount of trouble he is in. And he certainly does not seem to believe that he is doing anything wrong.

I'm still waiting for this guy to wave goodbye to Detroit and resign his position.

Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick Perjury Charges Amended Due To Discovery Of More Steamy Text Messages To Additional Women

Embattled Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is in more hot water after prosecutors in his pending perjury case discovered additional "romantic" text messages to additional women who were not his wife or his mistress and former Chief of Staff Christine Beatty.

Kilpatrick has refused to resign despite numerous requests for him to do so from public and private constituents. It remains to be seen if his wife who stood by like a ventriloquist dummy when the charges first became public will stand up for a second helping.

Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick has openly affirmed that he will not resign his position. That's a shame, because if he had an morals, dignity, ethics, or pride, he would have resigned already. When you have violated the public trust as an elected official, not to mention getting caught lying under oath, you should have the guts to face the music and lose your position. This guy is a real piece of work and I really hate the fact that his name is connected to hip hop music and culture in any fashion. Mr. Kilpatrick and the mayor of San Francisco, Gavin Newsom should bought be sent to "unfaithful island" for ex-mayors immediately.
