Just When I Thought It Was Over, Kwame "Da Hip Hop Mayor" Kilpatrick Pulls Me Back In!
When I woke up this morning, I had no intention for this to be Dummy Lamont day, but the hits keep coming. A judge just sent embattled Mayor Kwame "I'm A Sex Text Message Fiend" Kilpatrick to jail for violating the terms of his bail release. I'm still waiting for this guy to wave goodbye to Detroit and resign his position.
Update: What didn't this dummy understand about NOT leaving Detroit without permission?
Anybody out there with photoshop skills so I can create a Black Mayors Hall Of Shame with Kwame Kilpatrick, Sharpe James, and Marion Berry as it's first inductees?
Thanks to my reader, I Luv Brooklyn, But I Don't Live There for the tip!

Thanks for the shout-out. Sorry my 2nd link didn't work. I'll try again:
911 + subway mix-up = jail time
It seems like only yesterday when I read the Ebony magazine which heralded Kwame Kilpatrick.
The price of fame - a mugg.
LOL - crazy news day.
Last (2) links then I'm done :)
Neb. Senator 's lawsuit against God set
More regarding lawsuit - Picture included
Don't forget Bill Campbell... he's still in prison
and all he had to do was write to get permission...a damn shame!
He and Bill Clinton have much in common. At the same time, Kilpatrick is a saint compared to the two scum bag pedophile white politicians that Angry Black Bitch wrote about in her Thurs 8/07 post.
We have to wonder there's so much news coverage about the black guy going to extreme lengths to protect his marriage, but see far less mention of the white ones who go after underage jail bait.

Part of it is racism-no doubt. Kilpatrick is a 6-5 300lb dark skinned black man with an ear ring and preference for double breasted suits. Even before his legal troubles there were tons of people here in SE Michigan who did not care for him or called him pimp or thug.
But I would say that his troubles are less about trying to protect his marriage and more about trying to protect his political hide.
If he hadn't wrongfully fired those cops and then lied about it on the stand he wouldn't be in this situation. I'm not gleeful about it ,although the press and the suburban populace here is having a field day. This morning he will likely be charged with felony assault.
Also he's strung out the press attention by refusing to resign (like Spitzer did) and dragging out every legal battle.
Was Kwame doing all that lying, threatening and paying off lawsuits to protect his marriage or himself from getting caught? His relationship with Christine wasn't is only instance of cheating. And he got elected in large part because of his mother. She just barely squeaked out a win. All of these politicians should be held accountable, but even moreso the Black men that would use a Black woman to shield themselves.
The other reason for the higher news coverage is that the Mayor of a large city is higher profile than some state rep somewhere. Having the national media in town for the PGA championship didn't help matters either.
Ummm... I'm not buying the racial parity argument. If anything, Black politicians have been left unscathed and certainly unvetted by MSM because they don't really give a damn about the black constiuents.
I haven't read Angry Black's post, but if its summary is that people should leave Kwame alone because he's not as bad as some white guy, then that's just Chitlin' Eatin' on her part.
Just because white people are evil and corrupt doesn't mean that black politicians should follow suit. Kwame has done nothing except run Day-Twat in the ground. His dirty laundry should be aired for all the world to see and I hope he goes to prison for what he's done to the citizens of Detroit, that stripper, and the countless women he decided to sow his oats with.
He gets no pass and I don't really give a damn about how evil white people are... WE KNOW THIS ALREADY! I hold black people to a higher standard, because at that level Kwame should have known better. I think he did... he just chose not to.
I've sorta been keeping up with the case. How long will he be jailed?
The appeals court reversed the district judge and decided to allow bond. He also has a bond in his felony assault case.
So if he can come up with a little over $50,000 in cash he could be out this afternoon, after being fitted for an electronic tether of course.
Corruption... The judges, the police... Detroiters, wake yourselves from your stupor before its too late.
