If John McCAin Was A True Maverick He Would Have Picked Condoleeza Rice And By The Way - Where The Hell Is Condi?
You could hear a rat pissing on cotton if you were looking for a sound bite from Condi Rice about John McCain picking Sarah Palin as his running mate. She has already been virtually silent about John McCain being the GOP nominee and now it's nothing but the sound of crickets chirping with Palin.
She is the highest ranking female member of the GOP and the most high profile, but where is she? You would think the GOP would be using her blackness and her gender to their advantage to combat both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, but Condi has been MIA.
And for all the whining from women about Hillary Clinton, women have been curiously silent about Condi Rice's treatment. If John McCain wanted to make a ground-breaking historical choice for his party wouldn't Condolezza Rice have been a much better choice than Sarah Palin? Wasn't it her turn, as folks argued about Hillary Clinton? Shouldn't she have at least been asked or vetted for the position?
And I wonder how long it will take the mainstream media and pundits to notice Rice's silence and absence. I will be very interested in why Condi Rice has to say when she does reappear, if she says anything at all.
