Pick up a copy of this month's National Geographic. It's awesome! Go check out the website to get a preview of the feature article on The Black Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt.

Thanks again for spreading the word sis!!

People I read this (the whole issue is tight) but I read this and it was so well written. They didn't take away from our people. In fact, they were very honest in talking about how the white educational establishment of the 19th and 20th centuries let racism dictate how much credit we deserved!

I had not bought a N.G. in years, so I was very please with this issue, I will so get over the fact that they waited until black history month. LOL!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I am currently taking a course on the Old Testament and who wrote it and why. Gosh! The course has really open my eyes on how the quote on quote "white man" has been hating us for soooo long. We just finish discussing (last Tuesday) the true identity of the Pharaohs and politics went into writing the Bible. I will be picking up a copy for me and one for my professors.

I wonder if Cheikh Anta Diop's research and analyses were used in any of these articles.

I will buy it today.

Go National Geographic! That magazine should be required reading. I'll be picking up my copy as well.

I read the article so beautiful pictures some so-so information. However, why do Egyptians "hate" blacks and why don't they consider themselves African ?
