Bobby Cutts Jr. Gets Life Sentence

Bobby Cutts, Jr. was shown much more mercy that he ever showed his victims yesterday. The jury that convicted him of murdering his girlfriend and their unborn child recommended that he receive life in prison with the possibility of parole in 57 years. The judge agreed. Cutts should really consider himself blessed considering how many lives he changed forever with his monstrous acts.

I heard the mother of the victim say this morning that she forgives him..(ok, I get that..she's a woman of faith.) But then she said something to the effect of wanting to see him get out one day, become a better man and hold his son...uuuhhhhhh..ok.

@shecodes, she prefaced her statement to the judge with "I may not have a family to go home to after this."

i hope for his soul that he asks for forgiveness--and rec's it from God.

but for the rest of us--i hope he never gets out of jail!
she sounds confused and conflicted...i just can't imagine how it must feel to be in her situation. and i pray that God does not allow something like that to touch close to my life. (though i know if He did-we would make it through it)

i hope that she does not take that little boy to prison on 'visitation sundays' to see that man. whew-complicated!

but then again,. we never know what God is up to and what He will turn this into for that child-but i know it will be great!
