Candace Parker Turning Pro!

My favorite college basketball player will skip her senior year and enter the WNBA draft this summer. CP will be taken number one in the draft by my favorite WNBA team, The Los Angeles Sparks. Not only can the sister dunk, she's walking away from Tennesee with her college degree in her hand as well! She going to get quite a few endorsement deals and raise interest again in the WNBA. The only thing that can add to her bright future would be the Lady Vols winning back to back NCAA championships this spring. Go Candace and Lady Vols!!!!!!

Okay, so like I live in TN and I'm not a big UT fan. But anyhoo...

What makes this a big deal is that female college players don't usually jumpship for the pros like male players do. WNBA salaries aren't worth it. But endorsements are another thing.

One thing's for sure, UT may be a great basketball school, but the city of Knoxville must surely suck if you're a black person.

Good luck Candace!

Duke? Oh Lawd!!! LOL!!!

Doc Weems -

She going to get one of the special contracts from the WNBA for sure and at least a few million in endorsements. I agree with you completely about Knoxville.
