Here Come Da' Judge

Washington County Circuit Judge W. Kennedy Boone was reprimanded for calling three black female lawyers "the Supremes" in court and advising a defendant to get "an experienced male attorney" instead of using one of the three black women attorneys present.

Boone claims he was trying to "protect" the women from ending up with a difficult client. Now, I ask this, why is it when white folks do things that are racist, sexist, and stupid, they think they are protecting us with their racism, sexism, and stupidity? I would rather be unprotected than have a negative experience such as this.

That's really kinda sad that he felt he was "protecting" the sisters from a difficult client. Weren't their law degrees protection enough?

Wow... that's reprehensible. I'm not inclined to believe that he was trying to protect them though. I have yet to see a judge try to 'protect' a lawyer from getting a creep as a client.

Sigh. One day we will all be free...

ok, i hope they clipped him on that. and made report of it.

it's not going to change, we have to change. for me, knowing how to go over, through, around, underneath all hinderances is freedom for me.

some people will always try manipulation-Pride will always kill.
