Superstar Rapper T.I. Gets Over Again!
I hope rapper T.I. pays his lawyers a bonus, they have truly earned it. How does a self-proclaimed "seven-time felon" get away with community service and a pending 12 month jail sentence, after getting busted with unregistered machine guns? And how is the hell is T.I. going to give talks to children about the "dangers" of weapons and drugs, when his next album will surely be filled with songs glorifying and celebrating the use of guns and drugs? Anyone that brings him into a community center should be fired!
Considering the manpower and firepower the authorities used to arrest T.I. and now this extremely weak resolution seems extremely fishy. Not mention, this plea deal sends the completely wrong message to black youth. Young people don't view a 1,000 hours of community service as a huge penalty to pay for getting arrested with a small personal arsenal. The "system" fails black youth and the black community, again!

i read this this morning, and the first thing that went through my mind was....who else did he pay off!
he Can't speak on the dangers and evil concerning gangs, violence, drugs, and guns-he does not know a life without those things. in order to speak the truth about something-anything, you must Know the truth first. and the truth that he knows comes from the life he has been living.
a person has to change must have a desire to change-or it will not happen.
a person can't give what they don't have!
he payed people off...
You have GOT to be kidding. I should have known this would be the outcome when he entered a plea agreement. Ugh.
To call him lucky would be an understatement. Let's see how quickly he goes back.

I agree once again the American justice system has failed us all by failing to put a black man in jail.
