D.C. Madam Takes Own Life!
I'm not saying she did not deserve to be convicted, but I am always troubled by these call girl ring cases where the women are prosecuted and the men (the johns) get off completely free. Senator David Vitter should have been sitting in the court room right next to her. Elliot Spitzer should be facing charges as well! And Senator Larry Craig's freaky ass still has his job after getting caught cruising in a bathroom. Women still always get the short end of the stick!

uknow the story of the "adultress" the men dragged out of bed and took her to Jesus, came to mind when i read this.
i often wonder what happened to the man she was set up with in that story.??
and which one of them was married--if it was him--then he is the adulter-not her.
at any rate--you are correct--the men always get off because they see nothing wrong with what they are doing--not at all. they are not apologizing for doing it--but for being caught at doing it!

@page, you know, that thought hit me also...if she felt that was the only way out- that is really a sad shame...but if she was shut up by again, the little power of those men--which is very possible--then things have taken a different shift of being unveiled.

I am disturbed that not one "john" has been charged or prosecuted.
