A Few Observations About The R. Kelly Trial

R. Kelly has been looking scared at his trial and so he should be. He's in deep doo-doo. I learned from the O.J. Simpson and the Robert Blake cases to never assume that a celebrity will be convicted, but R. Kelly's case it's not looking real good. Just a couple of observations, feel free to weigh in.

If it's not the alleged victim on the tape, why didn't she testify for R. Kelly? Could it be that she couldn't stand up to the cross examination from the prosecution after denying she was in the video? It's damn hard to refute half the people in the world from your basketball coach to your own cousin, who set you up to get pimped in the first place.

If it's not the alleged victim on the tape, but a prostitute as R. Kelly's defense argued, why didn't anyone on his defense team find her? He's a multi-millionaire, he has gobs of money and resources to spend searching for everyone on the tape or to offer a multi-million dollar reward for anyone on the tape to come forward.

If it's not R. Kelly on the tape, why didn't he testify? Could it be that he knew he didn't have an acceptable answer for his clearly provable taste for underage girls?

Guilty or not guilty, R. Kelly's career should be over. He's a very strange and creepy man, whose unusual and possibly criminal sexual behaviors have been covered up by numerous folks. Any parent that allows their daughter around him should have their head examined!
