Since he could read Hillary's mind, what didn't he read the Cardinal's? Where are the bosses for Reverend Hagee to ask him to take a nice long leave?

Am I the only one who was offended by the “black” vernacular used by Rev. Pfleger to address a predominately black congregation? It was equally offensive as Hillary’s “No Wayz Tired” intonation.
I was offended by that entire segment of his preaching and the people prasing and jumping up applauding such personal attack from a pulpit , true or not.
And I so enjoyed Rev Pfleger when he spoke at the Ecumenical for MLK Day here in Atlanta.
If I were in the Trinity church, I would make sure all my 4013c paperwork and documents are up to date and filed properly. As there is a clear spereation between church and state regarding non-profits. YOu can talk politics without endorsing a candadiate, however......... I am sureeeeeeeeeee the IRS is viewing anything it can find it to review this status.........

I have seen so many white preachers get up in front of a black audience and try and use slang or try and modify their speech pattern and they do not think it's patronizing and insulting... probably because they see the black preachers using slang and changing their speech in front of the congregation and then speaking differently when they are invited to give a sermon at all-white churches.... therefore, the white preachers feel that they can "switch" too... they don't "get" it and no one has told them....

There will always be people who will stand up and clap at whatever the person in a clergy collar has to say...I've seen in a thousand times...
Once a preacher threw a pair of panties on the pulpit to make a point...people were roaring in laughter...
Another preacher was all over the internet because he put a bed in the pulpit and preached on marital sexual dynamics...
There's no end to the folly that occurs in these pulpits at this point...and I am very, very sorry to even say that as a minister...but it's just TRUE!

Preachers talk about politicians in the pulpit all the time in the black church setting. There is no violation of 501c3 status in making political commentaries. I have walked out of church before and people were passing out political flyers for candidates on the sidewalk....they CAN as long as they aren't on the property...
Politicians show up at black churches at election time REGULARLY...and they are usually invited to say a few words...
There are churches that do not even HAVE 501c3 status and the people realize that they will not get to claim their donations to the church on their taxes...however the way they go around it is to create a CDC (community development corporation).
There are ways to do anything and everything and still stay nearly within the rules.
