Words For Warfare
"To become a woman, it's no small matter. It means you fall down and you get up. You fall down and you get up. You're knocked down sometimes and you get up. And get up still living it, still trying to smile, still try to be the best you can be. You know, when a woman walks in the room, people know a woman is here." - Maya Angelou

that quote is so full of truth.
she always has such wonderful and enlightening wisdom to share with those that have ears to hear.
i just read a quote by her early this morning--and then i see you have put this on your space also! :D
-------
"If you have only one smile in you, give it to the people you love. Don't be surly at home, then go out in the street and start grinning 'Good Morning' at total stangers."
~Maya Angelou

and i know she speaks the truth....i have known people that are just plain mean and evil at home but to the outside world they reap compliments of being such a happy and helpful person. so loving and loved by people they do not live with! but ask the people in the house what they are like and it is like night and day.
whew...what the heart loves comes through the mouth...
i love this quote! thanks for sharing it Professor Tracey:-)

Womanhood is a hard fought achievement. I don't think I've gotten their yet, but I am striving. I believe a great many of us have given up.
I love Dr. Angelou! When you get a chance, please check out my newest post. I'd like to hear/read your thoughts.
