$69 "Obama Is My Slave" Designer T-Shirt Results In Free Ass Whooping!
Take two aspirin and repeat three times, "racism will always exist in America","racism will always exist in America", "racism will always exist in America". The racist jerk in the above photo is "designer" Apollo Braun. He has designed several t-shirts like this one in the photo above, based on the fact he hates Obama. Braun is convinced that Obama is a Muslim (still feeling The New Yorker satire, anyone?) despite being informed that is not the case.
Braun has recently been sued by a purchaser of one of his "Obama Is My Slave" productions. Apparently, a clueless and brainless NYC graduate student got her racist ass kicked for skipping down the street wearing the offending t-shirt by four black teenagers. She blames the designer for her beat down. I guess she never considered that wearing a t-shirt with such an obvious racial slur in the most ethnically diverse city in the world was a bad idea.

Karma works! It really does! The spirit of an ole slave possessed those teenagers to do the work that they couldn't do when they were in cattle shackles.
I find this hard to believe as reported. I wonder if words were exchanged or aggressive behavior on either side triggered this.

If you find it hard to believe, this designer has a website. You can see the t-shirts for yourself. And what difference does it make if words were exchanged, the t-shirt is what made them pay any attention to her in the first place. You get what you paid for sometimes.
I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't glad that she got her ass kicked.

I'm surprised he didn't run with 1) it is satire, 2) some folks aren't smart enough to understand satire, 3) he'll be happy to explain what satire is.

I suspect that the graduate student story turns out to be a friend, or hoax just to get him free advertising. It's working.

This just goes to show the extent of racist stupidity. I would not call a shirt with pressed on letters "designed" nor that Braun boy a designer -
And the girl who wore the shirt - well evil draws evil.
Violence is unacceptable however there is a certain amount of responsibility you must accept while living on this planet. That means trying as best you can to put out into the world God's Love. Wearing clothing with hateful messages is not promoting love as God would have us do. They are sending out hate and getting it returned.

OMG.
I actually know this guy! He's not only a jerk, he's seriously out to lunch. He's Isreali, very openly gay and has a pop music career that exist in his head. He was actually part of an event I worked on a few years ago and although he was full of drama he was more entertaining than anything.
He has a little hole in the wall boutique and I can guarantee you that he is enjoying this free publicity. This i probably the best thing to happen to him years. I hope people just ignore his foolishness and not give him the attention he so clearly seeks. The fact that these t-shirts are selling in "liberal NY" says a lot. Hipsters love "irony and satire".
Any fool stupid enough to wear that t-shirt deserves a beat down. Wearing that t-shirt is the equivalent of inciting riot. What an idiot!
