Has Jennifer Hudson's Debut Album Cover Been Photo-Shopped To Make Her Look Thinner Than She Actually Is?

I don't know, what do you think? And has anyone heard the single?

If her name wasn't by that photo I wouldn't have recognized her.

Yeah I believe she looks thinner there she actually is and that is shame because she a beautiful woman and needs no improvement. In fact I think they did something wonky with her face as well.

FBC - That was my first thought, why did they put some other chick on J-Hud's album? LOL!

Renee - Agreed!

Shame... She should embrace all of her curves. She has talent AND good looks. Why photo shop herself when she's already lost a significant amount of weight since her AI and dream girls days?

PT...

I'm gonna call you... this move is STRESSING me and I'm ONLY staying in the samee city.

You really never understand how much shit you've accumulated until you try to pack all of it.

Love the single! However I am disappointed in the cover. I truly feel like Jennifer had no say so about the pic for the cover. She always seems (well at least in the interviews)like she loved her shapely body. What pisses me off is how record companies think we are stupid and would not notice that all of a sudden she is thinner!

Blame it on A&R, not the artist. New artists do not have much control over how the record label markets them to the public.

My friend and I were discussing the album cover also. She's lost weight lately (even though some of dresses she's been wearing are a little too tight), but not that much. It's a shame how such a bad stigma is put on people that wear bigger sizes/weigh more, but are still beautiful.

I will be purchasing the CD the day it comes out! The single "Spotlight" is hot!

Well, now that I've re-watched the video for "Spotlight", she looks thinner in it also. Maybe we're assuming the wrong thing: maybe she really has lost a lot more weight. I know I get double takes now that I've lost a lot of weight too.
