NBA Summer Round-Up - Elton Brand Leaves Baron Davis With Egg On His Face!
Elton Brand has shocked the L.A. Clippers and supposed new teammate Baron Davis, by signing with the Philadelphia 76ers. Brand makes the 76ers playoff contenders and the Clippers are well, the Clippers. (I hate to say I told you so, Don! LOL!) Adding insult to injury, current Clipper, Corey Maggette is rumored to being signing with Davis' old team, the Golden State Warriors. Ouch!

Yes, you definitely told me so. LOL. I'm thinking, how wild is it that Brand turned around and signed with the Sixers. From all accords it appeared that he would remain a Clipper. I mean, it certainly made sense for both he and Baron Davis.
Then, after combing the NBA sites I read where the Clippers made him a lowball number ($70 million) 'either take it or leave it offer,' which made Brand fall out of favor with the team.
I imagine Baron Davis is seriously disgusted. LOL. And, I agree, the young and dangerous Sixers are suddenly contenders in the East.
