The Problem With Omarosa
I have had enough of Omarosa and that is based on a minuscule amount of exposure to the woman. I never saw any of her reality show appearances. I was exposed to her madness through late night news shows and unsolicited you-tube videos. Her act is beyond tired and her fifteen minutes of fame has really turned into overtime horror for everyone that ends up in her path. If there is ever another year where they run out of names for hurricanes again, I think they should use Omarosa's name as an emergency substitute; Hurricane Omarosa I, II, and III, etc.......
Women who desire to be famous at all costs scare me. And women who alter their physical appearance in radical ways give me the creeps. Omarosa's new boob job is a perfect example. She looks like psycho black barbie going to a par-tay to-nite to meet sum-body! What bothers me the most about Omarosa is that she thinks being and acting like a bitch is the same thing as being an empowered black woman. It's not.
Which leads me to the reason why this woman is back on the national radar again, her dumb-ass new book, The Bitch Switch: Knowing How To Turn It On And Off. As my godson used to say when things displeased him, "somebody needs to get fired" and who ever gave this woman this book deal and allowed her to used this derogatory title should get fired.
A book like this has no purpose. It's like Superhead's books, pure trash. And considering the Omarosa has been fired from nearly everything and had drama everywhere she goes, it's clear that she doesn't know how to turn the "bitch switch" (whatever that is) off herself. Sistas don't let your curiosity get the better of you, boycott this book.
And on a final note, is it me or has Omarosa's book publisher heavily lightened her beautiful dark brown skin for this book cover?

It's not just you, I noticed the same thing about her skin color.
She appears to be a woman with brains who allowed herself to be wasted on a gimmick.
It's a shame Omarosa presents the book in such an ill manner. What got lost in the Wendy Williams debacle is very important advice for sisters not to fall for the old "okey-doke" when accepting a job offer. Employers always low-ball you and you have to learn the art of negotiating a better deal. Such a shame.
Omarosa is a joke to the white community, and that is why she would be on celebrity apprentice etc. However she is a very beautiful intelligent woman, but she is a social climber, that is why she cannot have a man of significant on her red carpet events, because she wants to make herself available, if she had really made it, she would have been on Oprah Winfrey show and she would have to behave herself, because Oprah Winfrey have far too much connections, whatever Oprah Winfrey says goes. People should not aspire to her because she is a damamged individual.
Just thinking out loud, Is Omarosa really that bad?
I can't help but thinking that Omarosa, as a dark black woman, has had a particular life experience. I'm sure she has been distressed by white, black, women and men. In her career I’m sure she was assertive in the pursuit of rewards, as anyone else would be but she was probably saddled with stereotypes. What can you do if no matter how you act you are labeled? Do you wait for a better day or do you take those stereotypes and work them to your advantage. Can you spend your whole life with a mask on or catering your behavior before hand for fear on how it could be twisted into angry black woman. Cunning and yes aggressive behavior is necessary for success. Is it possible to use the Angry Black Woman thing to our advantage?
As far as the book cover goes I think its a combination of photoshop and make-up. You know to soften her features up a bit *rolls eyes*
I personally don't have anything negative to say about O. Remember back in the day Joan Collins was trying to live up to that "bitchy titled too?
I do believe that after that book gets played out she's gonna have to start doing something new with her image.
I'm glad she put Wendy in her place lol.
Omarosa had the chance to dial it back a notch but she chooses the path of destruction. And if you watched the original Apprentice show that started all this mess she totally sabotaged Kwame. It was as entertaining to watch as a train wreck. You just couldn't believe what was going to happen next. Then she went on Oprah and tried to claim another contestant had used the N word against her. She's manipulative and so obvious. Of course there's a larger issue at play here: the marginalization of Black women. She saw it as her only way but it was the easier way. She's too smart to exploit herself sexually so she portrays the 'other' stereotype of the loudmouth overbearing Black woman. Sigh.
Also during the 2nd season they had another Black female contestant who neither looked nor acted anything like Omarosa [she was light-skinned with blondish curly hair and much nicer] but those other contestants got rid of her as fast as they could.
Her skin may be beautiful... her face isn't though. It seems all these years of fauxing bitchatude finally caught up with her forehead, eyes, and around the smile area.
Mari-Djata - You're being mean and I love you for it! LOL!!!!!!
Selena - Now you know Joan Collins can't be touched! Omarosa ain't in the same league. LOL!
Lor-Marie - You might be right!
Miss Pinky - Agreed!
Felicity - interesting points. Agree about Oprah!
Faith - that other chick was crazy too. LOL!
Jaceel - The is some value to ABW, but Omarosa takes it to new, unprofessional, crazy, heights. She is not angry, she is selfish. And she screws over everyone, so I'm not sure if she is just self-centered and does not play well with outer.
Good try though!
LOL @ Professor Tracey and everyone,
Come on ya'll she did hook her mother up with some much needed cosmetic surgery-although it was on TV. Gotta love a woman that gives her mom a full body make-over hookup lol.
