The WNBA's CP3 got in the first "real" dunk in NBA history, no disrespect to Lisa Leslie, but are the L.A. Sparks over-hyped as title contenders? And I'll be pulling for big sister Venus in the all-Williams Wimbledon final.
Barry Bonds was right. Fashion designer Mark Ecko is an idiot. You do not alter or deface sports memorabilia. Ecko wasted his money buying Bonds' home run record ball and he damaged it by putting that asterisk on the ball. Bonds has never been found guilty of using performance enhancing drugs and public opinion does not alter that fact. Ecko has no right to alter the ball to imply something about Bonds.
Is Gilbert "Agent Zero" Arenas really worth $111 million? Not if he can't get the Wizards past Lebron James' Cavaliers. Chris Paul gets a well deserved $68 million and did Baron Davis trade one half-assed team for another, if Elton Brand does not resign with the L.A. Clippers? That will be extremely funny if that happens. And is James Posey the new Robert Horry? Seems like every contending team wants the veteran defensive and 3-point specialist.

baron davis played college bball @ ucla, and his family and friends are in los angeles. he also has a production company in los angeles.
from what i've read...brand and davis are close friends who both have production companies. i personally think with davis on board (odds-on brand will remain) the clippers become an instant contender.
