Disgraced Track Star Marion Jones Scheduled To Be Released From Prison On September 5th
Marion Jones will have served her entire sentence for perjury and check fraud when she is released. She has community service obligations, so maybe someone will put her UNC Chapel Hill degree to work with kids that need tutoring or something.
And while we're on the subject of Marion Jones, is it me or has the U.S. Olympic track and field team been a major disappointment? A complete bust in the sprints, totally embarrassing in the relays, talking trash in the pole vault and not winning that gold, and completely MIA in other events. Other than the 400 meter hurdles, the discus, and the decathlon, the USA is kinda getting it's butt kicked in the track and field.

I'm sure she misses her babies.
Good deal. I had wished that she could have avoided prison. I do believe Marion Jones to be genuine in her apologies.
