Presiding Judge Removed From Jena 6 Cases!

I am amazed at courtroom judges that make negative remarks about defendants that have yet to be convicted, but swear up and down they can be impartial during court proceedings. Consider Jena 6 judge J.P. Mauffray Jr., who admitted making negative remarks about the defendants in those pending cases, but swears he can be impartial. He was removed from the cases today. Maybe he will keep his mouth shut in future.

For real. It's a good thing he did state these things as a matter of public record. You can bet so many other judges who think that way and assist in convicting people who may be innocent aren't ever held accountable.
