No Excuses - Make Plans And Be Prepared To Wait In Line To Vote! - Go Obama!

Be prepared for long lines when voting. Bring a book, I-Pod, cell-phone, homework, bible, portable DVD player, Better yet, bring your spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend, significant other, child, niece, nephew, grandma, grandpa, brother-in-law, great aunt, neighbor, pastor, co-worker, or best friend to the polls and talk to them while you are waiting to vote.

Call your boss and clear it with them. Hell, if you can afford it, take the damn day off! Tell your professor, if you don't have an assignment or an exam, then they should be cool. I'm a professor and I will be getting at my students about voting (at least the one's I think will vote for Obama, LOL!)

If you don't get out to vote, YOU are directly responsible for the HORRIFIC possibility of having to look at this dude for the next eight years.................

I've been able to vote for 20 years (yikes!!) and I have NEVER seen such lines or interest in an election. I"m so glad I get to experience this history in the making.
(But, of COURSE it's not a done deal!! Obama needs votes if only for a mandate for his first 4 years. Please stand in line, please go early, whatever you have to do to get your vote registered.)

My husband and I are lucky enough to have tickets to Obama's election night rally/celebration in Chicago. Don't know if I'll see anything or hear anything. But, it'll be a thrill.

I too after voting for over 20 years am thrilled with the inspired voting of this years' election. I hope people endure the lines and do their part to make a difference.

I don't hold aspirations of Blacks obtaining special considerations, but if McCain/Palin win we know we're certainly doomed.

I did my part to stimulate change.
