Update - After being positively identified as Senator #5, Jesse Jackson Jr. strongly and angrily denies any involvement in the "pay for play" Illinois Senate replacement scandal.
This is shaping up not to be a good year for the Jackson family. I am going to hope and pray that Jackson did not offer to pay or do anything to be named Obama's replacement. I really hope he was not that foolish. I would hate for his career to go down in this fashion.

Wasn't #5 the one who said he could get some money together upfront? They're going to impeach Obama before he even takes his damned seat. Illinois, I wish I knew how to quit you.
