This Is Funny As Hell! - Iraqi Journalist Throws Shoe At President "Can't Leave Office Quick Enough" Bush

This was a double your pleasure event - White House Press Secretary Dana Perino got smacked in the grill with a microphone during the ensuing post-shoe throwing dust-up, getting a small black eye. So much for being happy with Americans in Iraq, but in a democracy, shoe-throwing will not result in the lost of your hands, so I guess life in Iraq has improved.

funny and sad. As an elder, its a bit of a shame what he went through. But in light of what he's done...tsk tsk.

A bit of poetic justice: In Hebrew "BUSHa" means shame.

And this was a reporter!

If BO was up there, you would be calling the thrower a racist who should be shot by USSS and then charged with a hate crime.

it ain't funny- but IT'S FUNNY! lolololo-when i saw that i really could not believe that man did that.

it should be an outrage that someone would throw a shoe at our president(since technically he still is)-- and i do have my eyebrow raised at the man doing that--but you know, you Reap a Harvest of what you Sow!

There is nothing any body can do to help when that is the case. Bush is Reaping the Harvest that he has Sown!

Good f'n riddance, I say.

@JD -

Since Barack Obama would not have gone to war in Iraq in the first place, folks would not have had a reason to throw shoes at him! Further, Obama would have had enough brains not to go on a victory tour in a country that hates him!

Sad state of affairs though humorous.

My brother and I could not stop laughing about the shoe thrower. I needed that laugh. I haven't laugh that hard in awhile.

He's lucky that after he attacked and destroyed a country and killed millions of their citizens for no good reason, that's all he got. Would any American be respectful of another world leader that had done that to them?

Prof T

I agree with your last comments. It's crazy that he's even there.

The reporter is still in custody and people are protesting demanding his release. He got the crap beaten out of him by the security detail and could face at least 2 years in prison. He's been detained before so he has a right to be pissed off. Bush isn't his President!
