Former Transit Police Officer Charged With Murdering BART Passenger Oscar Grant III
The first hurdle in this case had been successfully passed, but remember what happened in the Sean Bell case. There is still plenty of work to do on this one.

I was pleased to know that this murdering animal was in custody, AFTER ALL THIS TIME. Now I'm just praying he gets some REAL prison time and I also hopes he never has a fully peaceful nights sleep for as long as he breathes life.
foul
this is just disturbing all around.
all these lives torn apart because he could not control himself and emtionally made a bad decision that took a life.
i pray that this ex-bart man is with the Lord-or is on his way to being with HIm.He is sure going to need God's help with this mess.
i also pray that the victims family is with God--they are going to need His counsel to get through this the right way.
Lord Jesus HELP!
I am so hurt by what is happening in my second home. There is something that is stirring in the atmosphere in Oakland, and it hasn't really been positive for over a year now. There were restuarant and store robberies that were happening near Lake Merritt; so bad that they called in the Guardian Angels to patrol the streets. These were Mexican boys and you didn't hear about a cop harassing them and "accidentally" intending to taser them.
It burns me up that Oscar Grant was not even armed, was lying down FACE DOWN, arms to the side and was murdered. And for a week and a half, the bum cop had NO charges against him until this week. I'm glad that caught his ass, and I pray he goes UNDER the jail. This is another hurdle that is going to pushback any efforts that were made in helping community/police interaction. The rally that was had downtown was not intended to be a riot; there are definitely organizations in the community that are trying to heal the city and show that there are positive outlets to direct negative energy.
I will continue to keep an eye on this.
This guy should be charged and convicted of murder based on his actions. No one should ignore actions this deplorable. I also think the same type of outcries and demands for justice should be made when our youth and others are victimized in alarming statistics by Black on Black crime.
None of it is right or acceptable.
