WNBA Superstar Lisa Leslie To Retire At Season's End...Fellow Superstar Sheryl Swoopes Waived By The Seattle Storm

Lisa Leslie takes a well-deserved bow from the game. She left her mark on women's basketball and help make great strides for all women in sport. I wish Sheryl Swoopes had retired before her game diminished. I hate that her wonderful career ended in this manner.

Except when she is crying about running up on 'Horn' ;-) All the best in retirement.

Yea, the first generation of WNBA players are leaving - now its time for people like Candace Parker to lead the next generation. I hope the league can sustain.
