Is This Art?

Thanks to a blogging sista, Claudia - here's a new "artwork" to ponder. I'm not sure this art folks. I don't get this at all. You're welcome to take a stab at it. I hope that dude never pulls this mess in America, I think he might get his ass kicked by mistake. Folks take their Walmart shopping seriously here.

Awesome! Thanks for posting this. From the video, I'm not sure this guy is getting the kind of impact he hoped for - I think it might have worked better if he just laid on top and allowed those who might be browsing for the towels to "discover" him there... Either way, I'm clueless as to what the message is....!

Urban Camouflage. Huh. I guess its alluding to the ubiquitous nature of consumer items? The solidity that it has in modern living that it is par for the course as background like trees use to be. Is it trying to capitalize on video viral? It appears like student performance art and it is mildly amusing in a Mr. Bean kind of way. I personally don’t think its art. It may catch on as a gimmicky form of guerilla pop.

Why?
That is the first thought that popped into my head.
If this is art-the message is lost on me.
