Sorry Kobe, But LeBron James Is The MVP This Year!

Regular readers of this blog know that Professor Tracey loves her L.A. Lakers and the Kobester, but after that horrible Laker loss to the 76ers on Tuesday and watching LeBron James dismantle Portland in overtime last night for his 7th triple double of the season, it's all over - LeBron James is this season's MVP.

He would have to become suddenly absolutely horrible and his team would have to lose a bunch of games and then Kobe would have to go completely crazy for me to change my mind. Kobe is still the best player in the NBA, but LeBron wins games by himself and with his teammates. Kobe can dominate and win by himself, but he just can't always get the rest of his guys to rise to his level.

What about D-Wade? The argument could be made that he is doing more with less. His team is really not that good, and he is a better defensive player than LeBron. LeBron is a freak of nature and Kobe is the best player in the league, but Wade is my pick for MVP. By the way, I would not have given Kobe the award last year. I would have given it to Chris Paul. lol
