Hi Prof. Tracy,

Jaycee a blogger I've been reading (A Choice of Weapons) recommended your blog.

I read about the ASU flap last week on another blog and almost wrote a comment which I ultimately deleted. Some things people justify doing fall into the realm of stupidity and I just don't like wasting emotional energy on it.

Perhaps one day the rules of the games will become consistent even for a president who happens to be African American.

Thanks for sharing this link.

That was a great link. When I first heard that Kim Campbell Canadas first and only female prime minister had been given a degree and that they would not give one to Obama the hypocrisy was clear to me. Campbell was not even elected she stepped into the position after Mulroney. Come on, if being the first black man to head the Harvard law reviews, an award winning author and not to mention the small fact that he is the first black president of the United States is not worthy of an award, I don't know what is. This is pure nonsense and they only make themselves look ridiculous.
