We knew that. Beyonce has star power and folks love to see chicks fight.
But Beyonce and her school play acting is still the same..I expected the fight see to be okay since a movie fight scene is nothing but choreography.. So we know Bey can dance..I saw it free online. blah.

Kim -

Ain't school acting an upgrade from her usual Sunday church play acting? LOL!

Professor
I was listening to Tom, Sybil, and Jay Anthony this am, and these fools actually encourage folks to see Obsessed, because Tom felt that the Soloist may be too depressing...

Me and buddy saw the Soloist this weeknd, and enjoyed it, the ratio of moviesgoings was 5-1 to see Obsessed, and mostly Black Woman. I guess a crazy white woman trying to steal your man, and a cat fight will beat you at the box office every time!

Ok, you may or may not approve my comment. But I'm only going to watch this in support of Bey, and only if Miss Lilly gets thrown over that balcony.

Yes, you told me so. LOL I was shocked. Cadillac Records opened with 3million dollars and it was a better movie.

I don't care about The Soloist. I enjoyed Ray but I'm not a huge fan of Jamie Fox. I will check out American Violet next weekend, if I don't get sucked into seeing Wolverine.

Didn't see. Won't see. Don't need any classic stereotypical Black woman vs White woman stealing Black man ordeal. Beyonce fight scene? People really need something to do with their lives..

It sounded good. I have yet to see it.

Bey's acting was better than expected but was it reallty hard to play the role of the jilted wife? But the story line was trite and overdone. So, I would wait for the DVD if you must see it.

@All-- go see American Violet! You won't feel like you need your money back after seeing it!
