One More Thing To Really Piss Off The Republicans - Queen Elizabeth II Embraces First Lady Michelle Obama
If you didn't know it's against the rules to put your hands on the Queen. Remember when the Queen visited the U.S. and the sista gave her a good old fashioned black woman hug? The media feel to pieces like busted glass over that one.
I find it really interesting that the media is being quiet as church over the fact that the Queen bonded with First Lady Michelle Obama, even throwing her little old arm around Michelle Obama's waist at one point.
That's our girl, Michelle Obama, slaying them everywhere she goes!

Just think... when the queen put her arms around Mrs. Obama if she didn't embrace her back they would have said she dissed her! They would have said she thought she was "too good" for the queen and was a black elitist. You know the deal... like you said she is killing it over there and they hate it. The queen love her some Barack and Michelle!
Michelle Obama makes me very proud to be a woman, a black woman and an American. She's so graceful and appears humble. I love the images she has created.
Oh how the repubs are so disappointed that they love the Obamas overseas. :)

It is against royal protocol to touch the Queen but the times I have seen people do it, the queen subtly distanced herself and moved away. In this case, the Queen PUT HER OWN HANDS ROUND MICHELLE! So she HUGGED HER BACK. That has NEVER happened before!
Everyone loves Michelle Obama her in the UK. Those idiotic republicans can choke on their vomit!
They interviewed the editor of the British Vogue during the G20 and she said:
"We all love Michelle Obama here in Britain. Her warmth and great sense of style. She can do no wrong in my eyes. Infact she could be wearing binbags and still look fabulous".
The French first lady (Carla Bruni) was noticeably absent. She pulled out from attending at the last minute. Most papers speculated that it was because she didn't want to be upstaged by Michelle O.
The MSM tried to make it a problem but it didn't work! Ha!

Sorry to disagree, but it is long-standing policy of tradition and protocol - not to touch the Queen.
Tracey... funny, Buckingham palace said there was no rule. Olberman quoted them. Oh well..
Rules or not the Queen embraced our first lady just as the entire world is embracing her! Hail to the Queen and long live Michelle Obama!
