Ya'll can watch if you want to. I got a seriously strong feeling that if I watch, I will be compelled to write a post entitled - "Fuck Soledad O'Brien - Part II." Been there, done that already.

Auntie--this might help separate the bull crap of the show and it's events, and the few bright spots.

Come on, Aunt!!!

You supposed to support the BiA, BiA remix to show an MSM story of our so-called peeps...LMAO!!!

You are funny, I saw a early screening, which show a snippet of four postive stories, but according to my sources in Atlanta, Washington DC, and NYC, they all saw different screenings and CNN staff is really running spin on this event, we'll see I'll downstream it while out in the park!

I'll be missing it too. I got a test on Monday and working on a group project which is due Tuesday I don't have time for this shit.

Black Baby Jesus told me that I should do my part to get into heaven to convince my people to watch Black in America 2.

@RiPPa -

I will resist the power of your beautiful writing, but I strongly encourage everyone else to read your post and to watch. Cool?!

Dang, can I atleast get you to skip the first 9 reasons and read the #1 reason? If anything, it will make you laugh and maybe not make you feel guilty.

LOL

i didn't watch it and had no plans to watch it.
too much of the same old same old stuff.
they have left too many of us out of their reporting and If They really wanted to show how important we are to report about...it would be given more time and would include more of us to speak about.
too many of us are always wanting more but settling for less...and then acting like it's the best that an be done!

@Everyone -

Did anyone have anything to say about the actual shows?

RiPPa July 25, 2009 at 1:53 PM

I thought it was awesome, well put together, and inspiring. Of course not everyone agrees with me. But I think that's due in part to folks having low expectations of the show, and watched it with not much of an open mind.

It's a must watch.

P.S. I have an ongoing debate on it on a post on my page. Check it out if you like, and lemme know what you think.
