Sarah Palin Blows Off Her Job As Governor Of Alaska - Is Anyone Really Surprised?

This situation is just so absolutely stupid and crazy to me that I don't have a real comment at this time. I'm not surprised, but I just can't believe how close this woman came to being in the White House. And the absolutely, truly crazy part is that this woman still believes that people want to hear what she has to say outside of Alaska, particularly when she is no longer an elected official. Really?

And quite frankly, I no longer question Sarah Palin any longer, she was a loony toon from the get-go and she didn't hide it. I blame the folks that supported her. They did this, they unleashed this mess on America. It is going to be interesting to watch them twist and squirm and try to explain how quitting your job midway through your first term is a good thing. Not to mention how she stays in the political game as a serious player.

There's more to this story than currently is being told.

I'm curious to know the real story behind this. Isn't she commiting political suicide by doing this?

She must have pulled a Sanford or something.

Well, I am absolutely shocked. I didn't see this coming, but I do agree that something is around the corner. Can the GOP stand a blow like the one that is to come should her stepping down be because of scandal? She did appear shaken in the ramshackle speech she gave.

Wasn't expecting this...something's up.

Palin better be careful, the GOP has a proclivity for getting rid of embarrassments. Usually with a convenient brain aneurysm. Best lie low and maybe take up with an ice road trucker or two.
