Amen to that!
As a country, we put so much focus, so much emphasis on these caucuses. It seems that these early caucus states decide which candidates get to go on to the final round in November. I don't get a chance to even be part of that decision. Shoot, very few people LIKE ME (black women) have a voice in that.
And people wonder why the system is so jacked up. Folks wonder why only white men get to be president.
Do a caucus in Louisiana, Georgia, somewhere that's more racially diverse. At least the deck wouldn't be so stacked against non-white candidates right at the beginning.
Caucuses aren't very fair anyway. A small portion of voters having that much power to decide who will get the opportunity to run for president? HUH? How logical is this?
But it's not like typical America uses very much logic anyway.
I'm with you on this one, Prof. Tracey.
LOL-I didn't think there were even 2.3% Black people in New Hampshire!
I do agree with Candy's post. I was looking in the audiences in Iowa on TV-I personally did not see one Black person, except Barack Obama!
