L.A. Sparks Favored To Win WNBA Title In 2008!

The WNBA season opened yesterday and the L.A. Sparks opened with a victory over the defending champions, the Phoenix Mercury. The real question was WNBA rookie Candace Parker ready for the professional leagues. Well, she scored 34 points, snatched 12 rebounds and dished 8 assists. Nearly a triple double in her first game! All-Star Lisa Leslie looked great and so did Delisha Milton. It is with good reason that the L.A. Sparks are heavily favored to win the title!
