Black People - Always "Exotic" Never Just An American!

I have always understood that right-wing politician and pundit Pat Buchanan has always preferred a world were people of color are non-existent and were white women know their place is in the home. i.e. the 1950s. What I do not understand is how he gets to keep working on television in the 21st century, considering what an absolutely racist and sexist jackass he is!

Check him out yesterday on the Dan "no balls boy wonder" Abrams show, The Verdict. For those that don't want to kick in their televisions in rage, here is the written version of his brainless attempt to explain how the GOP will attack Obama and Tanya Acker's calling his ass out.

Buchanan: The only way the Republicans can win this — when everyone wants to throw the Republicans out — is to raise questions, raise doubts about the alternative. They’re gonna use his associations, and they’re gonna use his statements, his elitism, they’re gonna use the fact that he's exotic. That’s what’s gonna happen.

Acker: Exotic? What does exotic mean? Is exotic code for black? I don't understand what exotic means.

When do black folks ever get to be Americans? The answer is clearly NEVER!!! We are always going to be brother and sister outsider to white people. So, if black folks work hard and achieve without a handout from white people, they are ELITIST. If black folks want a position white folks don't think they should have, we suddenly become too EXOTIC for the job! Ain't that a bitch!

And adding insult to injury, if sista pundit Tanya Acker had not been on the air last night, Buchanan's comments would have gone unchallenged by the so-called white liberals appearing on the show with Buchanan. So, not only do we have limited voices, we have no supporters we can count on. Talk about being caught between a rock and a hard place!

WTF? How does this"pundit" continue to be on television? No one else would be able to spew such racist bs and not get kicked off the air, or at least sanctioned.

Hey Professor Tracey,

This "exotic" label pinned on blacks gets on my last nerves...

I was talking to a white guy I the other night and when he said, "well if black people acted more like Americans then white people would..." I really had to pause, breathe and reflect before pulling out a can of Whup!!

{rolling my eyes}
