One of my favorite movies. I wonder what other amazing projects we've missed out on due to the roadblocks that exist in Hollywood and the apathy of those in a position to do more. As well as the audience that isn't using their clout.
I absolutely loved this movie! From the visual setting, to the music, and even the costumes - it all just drew you in.
As a native of Louisiana, this movie makes me home sick each time I see it. Kasi Lemmons is very talented woman.
