Cokie Roberts Is A Clueless Moron, Way Past Her Sell Date As A Journalist

Cokie Roberts needs to retire. When a journalist only become notable for saying completely idiotic statements, the time has come for them to move on. Consider this gem that Cokie Roberts offered up about Barack Obama's vacation to his boyhood home Hawaii - "I know his grandmother lives in Hawaii and I know Hawaii is a state, but it has the look of him going off to some sort of foreign, exotic place. He should be in Myrtle Beach if he's going to take a vacation at this time."

Now, not only is this a horribly presumptuous statement, telling a black man where he should go on vacation with his family, it's a terribly racist statement as well. Not only did Cokie Roberts insult Barack Obama, she insulted all the AMERICAN citizens that live in Hawaii. What truly kills me is that it's only white people referring to AMERICAN citizens of color as "foreign" and "exotic" and acting like these statements are not ignorant, racist, separatist, and completely un-American.And considering Robert's advice that Obama should have vacationed on Myrtle Beach. I wonder if she meant that Obama should have gone to her favorite spot of Pawleys Island, 20 miles south of Myrtle Beach, an affluent enclave which is 92% white or did she think Obama should have been on the tourist trap dump strip of Myrtle Beach.
