Spain's National Basketball Team Appears In Ill-Conceived And Racist Advertisement
Clearly, racism knows no boundaries. Spain's national basketball team posed in this advertisement to celebrate a new sportswear deal and someone got the bright idea of having all the players pretend to "slant" their eyes like Chinese folks. Some knucklehead thought this was a good idea and all in "good fun." Maybe someone should have asked some representatives from the Chinese company that is sponsoring the team. I wonder if they would thought it was funny because I don't see what is funny about this photo at all. I hope that somebody got fired.

i thought this pic was outrageous. especially given that pau gasol is getting a new teammate from the chinese national team next season. just absolutely childish on the part of spain.
This is exactly why cultural diversity is imperative
Humf! I should have figured racism would raise its ugly head once China became in charge of holding the olympics.
