It's Time To Let The Hillary Clinton Supporters That Won't Support Or Vote For Barack Obama Go...Real Democrats Have A Presidential Election To Win
It's time to stop begging Hillary holdouts to get on board. If they can't be loyal to their own party, fine. If they can't see that John McCain as President would be a disaster for this country, fine. If they can't support Barack Obama after Michelle Obama's speech, fine. And if they can't support Barack Obama after Hillary Clinton has asked them, fine. We don't need to wait on Bill Clinton's speech tonight or whatever delegate roll-call deal has been worked out, enough is enough. I don't give a damn if these Hillary holdouts ever vote for Barack Obama. I'd rather he lose than keep begging some of these women for their vote.
Don't get me wrong, I'm supportive of the Hillary supporters like my mom, who desperately wanted to see a woman become President. She was angry and she was sad. In fact, she is still smarting over Clinton's loss, but she didn't bat an eye over supporting Barack Obama. For her it was a no brainer. She understands the gravity of having John McCain in the White House and she's not about to let that happen. I am more than willing to listen to the anger and hurt feelings of women like my mom. They have real, tangible, passionate, well-considered reasons to question Barack Obama and they are willing to engage in serious conversations to understand and embrace Obama's candidacy.
The Hillary Clinton supporters I am sick and tired of are the ones the mainstream media apparently can't get enough of, the ones who are willing to say or do anything. And when I see them, I don't see women passionate about their candidate, I see women saying and doing very despicable things to usurp a Democratic process that didn't go their way. I don't see women who respect the choices of other women or quite frankly represent American women in a particularly positive way.Take a hard look at ousted Wisconsin Clinton delegate and self-proclaimed die-hard Democrat Debra Bartoshevich, (pictured above in green meeting with the McCains) she is nothing but a buffoon. She had done nothing but hurt all American women with her dumb-ass antics. From her failure to understand the rules as a Democratic delegate to her latest role as ill-informed stooge appearing in McCain attack ads, she could strongly benefit from discussion with other Democrat women, but she's clearly to far gone to listen. Die-hard Democrat my ass, if it's that easy for you to quit your own party. And her sister in stupidity, Diane Mantouvalos takes the cake. Does she expect to be taken serious as a political pundit for women taking pictures like this? And her appearances on national television have been shocking in terms of the absolute ignorance and shallowness of her arguments against Obama. The truth is she doesn't have any, but that's not stopping her from talking. Check out this laughable appearance on Hardball. It rings very hollow to hear this woman say she supported Wesley Clark, but still managed to vote for Al Gore in 2000. Listening to her it's clear Barack Obama could really be Jesus and she still wouldn't vote for him.
Why bother kissing the ass of someone like Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild? This woman who is part of the privileged and wealthy white elite, had the nerve and the gall to say the following about Obama - "Frankly, I don’t like him. I feel like he is an elitist. I feel like he has not given me reason to trust him.” This woman clearly doesn't give a damn about America or the American people, she's upset that her chance at having a direct and personal connection to the power and prestige of the white house and the presidency has been dashed. She doesn't care about women and she sure in hell doesn't care about people of color, her comments prove that.
And if Hillary holdouts really want to be forever connected to racist wackos like this nut Chris Matthews encountered at the DNC convention, then I say let them be forever bonded in stupidity. This coo-coo for Coco-Puffs woman has to be seen to be believed - does Obama really want or need her vote?
Yes, it's time to move on. Begging folks like this for their vote will bear little fruit. And win or lose, I'm okay with that.

That woman in the video claiming she has a "report" that Obama went to a muslim school looks like Ann Coulter!
What does that have to do with anything?! I agree, these folks are angry that they didnt get their way so they are willing to sell out to put a man in office (McCain) who couldnt give a frogs fat a*s about them or their issues.
I have always felt that a divided party loses elections and this could prove to be costly to the dems in November. This election is so much about the wrong things (race, religion etc) what we claim to NOT be about in this country. Only time will tell what the fallout will be from this election and if we are better for it as a country.
Just say "NO DEAL" let them be the Nader of this election. The woman said she did not like the democratic process - what other process is there? No one cheated Hillary out of anything. Your candadite loss - kick rocks and move on. Vote or don't vote but shut up and let others on the fence choose as they please.
I watched this lady on CNN last night and I could see she had worked hard and was dissapointed in the fact the Hillary did not get the nomination. I can respect this effort - not the NO DEAL gals: everyone keeps yelling experience - she keeps saying experience counts ....Hillary has had a bug in MR. Clintons ear
but she has not run anything either other than 6 more years of senate experience and a longer time of SECONDARY public service by default
but this lady's passion, commitment
struggle & conflict made my staying up late worth while : politics at it best ------ of the people
vote your heart or make a choice, or stay home

Did you see that seriously unhinged sister PUMA on CNN last night? Her video is embedded on my site. I wanted to smack her--blubbering and talking 'bout how she may not vote in November.
Very well written all. Very sad. I am an Obama supporter. HOWEVER, had Clinton won the nomination (even after she started making startling/borderline racist remarks) I STILL would have voted for her. I am a Democrat and will stick with my party because of what they believe in.
amen!
I totally agree - if these people aren't on board then to hell with them.
The blond woman in the middle of the video with CM is named Cristi Adkins. While she claims to be an "Independent" in this video, a little research shatters any notion that she is anything but a participant in a covert RNC propaganda campaign, designed to create the false impression that the majority of HRC supporters are going to vote for McCain, thereby fueling the misconception that the Democratic party is not unified.
Ms. Adkins is spokeswoman and co-founder of Clintons4McCain.com. I suggest checking out the site, to make up your own mind as to whether or not it is a pro-Clinton site, or an anti-Obama, pro-McCain site.
Either way, never is there a debate on issues with these PUMA folks. In fact, they simply spout the same, tired old slimey right-wing talking points.
If they cared about issues that HRC cared about, they'd vote Obama.
If they were so "shocked" and appalled at the media's sexism, which they always say they are, why would they turn to a candidate who so recently offered up his wife to a drunken biker topless dancing contest? Or who has called his previous wife a "c**t," or when a supporter asked him "how do we beat the "b***h" (referring to HRC) and he said, "that's a good question."
Or when he "joked" about how ugly Chelsea Clinton was by saying that it's because Janet Reno was her father.
That leaves very few explanations for the behavior of some of these folks. Ugly explanations.
