No Justice For Tarika Wilson And It's Still Unsafe For Black Folks In Ohio
An all-white jury acquitted the policeman that shot to death Tarika Wilson and injured her infant son. I don't care what the circumstances were and I don't care who or what the police were searching for in her home. Kicking in the door of a home where a woman resides with six children with guns blazing is a completely callous and mindless disregard for human safety and obviously for human life.
The state of Ohio has a uncomfortably long history with their law enforcement agencies killing African Americans in extremely suspect circumstances. Now, Tarika Wilson's name can be added to that infamous list. I wonder if that police officer that murdered her will ever consider who is going to be raising her six children to adulthood.

Damn, and yet people still question how I can be proud of America? Where's the CBC or the NAN on this case?
I read about this acquittal. I can't really say that I expected for the white officer to be convicted, sadly, it appears that convicting a police officer of anything is pretty much next to impossible.
I had not heard of this story. I truly love the last picture image it still speaks volumes concerning the society we still live in.
