It still slays me how the GOP dressed up this backwoods family and then tried to present them as the "great all-American family." This was political theater at it's best. And you know damn well at that stuff was not returned. And who in the hell donates somebody's used underwear to charity? I wonder when Palin tries to run in 2012 will she try that "just plain folks" crap again?
Add on an additional $68,400 for hair and $42,225 for make-up. Hockey mom, my ass! Can you imagine the bill if Palin had been on the campaign trail longer than two months?

Well of course it was a sham! It's not like people will admit to wanting to be impressed or that appearance doesn't count. This was still cheaper than Mrs. McSalty's Convention outfit.
