Sorry JD - I Still Think This Is Funny As Hell!

I know I should be upset because this man is the symbol of our country's leadership, but I just can't garner the sympathy. This just cracks me up!

I'm laughing because of who the shoes were thrown @ and his ability to duck. I'm not sure if thrown @ Obama in the future I would be laughing. I believe that it would be politicially correct for their government to issue an apology to our current President and country, because of the significance of the disrespect.

I'm not holding my breath...

I know in this instance I'm very prejudice.

Cinco is the 1st person who said if it was BO, the reaction would be different. Congrats on clear thinking.

Sorry JD,

but you still have answered what there shouldn't be a different reaction. Bush and Obama don't have the same reputation. Bush has jacked up this country and he has the nerve to take a victory lap through that country? What did he expect?

And as I said before, Obama would have never started the war in Iraq, so shoes would not be flying at him.

I'm sorry, but I can't compare the situation or the individuals. Bush is a complete fool to be grinning in a nation that now truly hates America! If Obama is just as foolish in the near future, then he should expect some shoes to fly at him as well.

And since such situation has not occurred, we really don't know how folks will react. I'm not a knee-jerk person, nor an Obama fanatic, so if he gets smacked with a shoe, I will still think it's funny. I'm strange like that.

thats funny, dont be to quick to say what obama will and will not do. obama can only do what congress allow him to do

Its really a shame.

Also, I don't think sympathy is needed. The man was wrong. WRONG in the things he did.

Nevertheless, he's (1) an elder and (2) the symbol of USA.

But then again, he was wrong and killed -as in finished and parished the lives of so so many people. All in the name of seeking weapons of mass destruction *cough* greed for oil *cough*

So, for the sake of national security, so that nobody decides its okay to throw a proverbial "iraqi shoe" at the USA at large, .........I don't know.

I thought the video was kinda funny but I'm not feeling the pic. I can't stand Bush but he is still my president. Now, it's like they are clowning family. Leave my white, retarded uncle alone!!!!!!!!

Alls I am saying so no one misunderheard me. Bush is wack, we know this, but I will contend that it is dead wrong for someone to throw objects at a nation's leader.

Ahmadinejad is not on my favorites, but does that make it ok for me to throw my size 12 Jordan's at him, or darts, or ninja stars, or SUV parts?

Dr. Tracey Salisbury December 17, 2008 at 3:03 AM

@JD - I hear you brother. You're right, but I stil think it's funny as hell. And the next time Ahmadinejad comes to the States when might have somebody willing to toss a shoe or egg at him.
