Technorati Sucks!!!
I hate relying on technorati for blog rankings. Their shit doesn't work and they are too slow to fix it. My blog doesn't get updated. Their dumb ass ping system isn't working and neither is the authority ranking system. I've already sent three messages to their support and I'm still waiting to get a response. I getting read to drop their asses from my blog. Any suggestions for a substitute?

If you find out, let a blog sister know. I HATE technorati. My Google analytics always picks up links that Technorati has missed. It's aggravating, but I fear that it's the thing that everybody is using.
Unfortunately, I don't think there is a replacement.
I hate Technorati, it does not update properly, it does not index properly, my ranking has dropped about a good45 points!
So now I just ignore it and do my thing...
I had the exact same issues you did, and I demanded they remove my blog from their shady workin' mess. I used to live near their offices and almost walked over there I was so frustrated with them! Unfortunately, they seem to be the only ones out there doing what they do, but that's not enough to make me fool with them.
